Christmas Carol Night Friday 9th December 2011
Two of our pub regulars have been diagnosed with bladder cancer and therefore this has prompted us to run a charity event to raise funds to fight the disease.
On Friday 9th December we will be running a Christmas Carol night in aid of Heart of Kent Hospice in Aylesford, the money will be used towards buying a bladder scanner for Maidstone Hospital. Our current total stands at just over £7000 with £10000 as our target.
On the evening we will be turning on the christmas tree and lights, we will be holding a
charity raffle and will be
roasting chestnuts on our open fire.
You can enjoy a nice warm glass of Mulled Wine, some tasty
mince pies, a
mug of hot homemade soup with chunky bread and
jacket potatoes with various fillings.
Families are welcome from 6pm.
