enjoy dishes by our Gary Rhodes trained Chef...

The restaurant sits 50 people and up to 74 including the bar area. You will be well taken care of by our helpful and friendly staff, and with the knowledge that our chef has been trained by Gary Rhodes. There is a range of good quality English home cooking to suit everyone including a good selection of Vegetarian dishes and specials.

Food is served daily from 12-3pm and 6-9pm the last sitting is at 8.45pm and main course orders will be taken until 9pm.

Sunday Carvery
On Sundays we serve a carvery. You have a choice between the finest loin of Pork, Topside of Beef or Turkey crown. We have the fluffiest homemade Yorkshire puddings, creamy homemade Cauliflower Cheese, Honey-glazed carrots and parsnips, homemade crispy roast potatoes, peas, stuffing and gravy. Food is served between 12-6pm and there are 3 sittings, 12-12.30pm, 2.30pm and 5pm. No food is served after 6pm on Sunday.

High chairs are available on request. No dogs allowed in the restaurant please.

Carvery

Our Specialities..

  • Lemon Sole served with hand cut chips and garden peas.
  • Wing of Skate topped with brown shrimps and capers served with hand cut chips and garden peas.
  • Grilled Tuna Steak with lime and coriander butter served with hand cut chips, salad, homemade mango sauce and grilled pineapple.
  • Pan-fried scallops with black pudding, served with champ mash (with spring onions) and mustard sauce.
  • Mussel moules mariniere cooked in white wine, cream and onions. As a starter served with French bread and as a main served with French bread and chips.
  • Soft Shell Crab, deep fried in a tampara batter, served with homemade chilli dip and homemade onion rings.
  • Rack of Lamb served with mini seasonal vegetables and mini roast potatoes.
  • Fillet of Steak with port sauce, homemade pate, game chips, French beans and cherry tomatoes.
